Our backup camping candles are made from 100% beeswax and are available with two wick variants to suit your needs.
Low Burn wicks are intended for providing light or heat over a prolonged period. Providing 4 hours of light per wick (12 Hours total), the low burn wicks are ideal for lighting larger kindling when dry leaves are not available or providing light in emergencies.
High burn wicks will provide 2 hours of burn per wick (6 Hours total) providing drastically more light than our low burn wicks are the expense of run time. By lighting all three wicks these candles can easily boil small quantities of water in an emergency.
All of our backup candles come in a screw top tin that can be re-used after the wax has been exhausted. Store a few matches on top of the candle inside the tin for a waterproof and easy to light fire that won’t take up much space in your pack.
Each candle measures 2.6″ Diameter x 0.8″ Tall and weights 2.2 oz.
